One guarded checkpoint for every AI request. Your information: Contacts and notes, Deal Room files, listing details. The checkpoint: Your firm's AI rules. Data Room protection, on by default. Data Rooms are protected from AI by default

Every Data Room starts with Data Room AI Protection on. While it's on, Deal Pros doesn't send the room's documents, or anything derived from them, to AI.

Enforced before AI, not by instructions to AI

Every AI request passes a policy check in our software before anything reaches an AI provider. A request that includes protected content is refused before anything is sent, so the AI never receives it. We don't rely on telling a model what not to read.

Your organization decides where AI belongs

Set each AI category (DealPilot, CRM, financial data, confidential documents, Data Rooms, personal information, automated communications and more) to Allowed, Restricted or Blocked. The most restrictive setting always wins.

Only the Organization Owner can reduce Data Room protection

Turning protection off takes the Organization Owner, written acknowledgments and a typed confirmation. Each change is recorded, emailed to the Owners with a PDF record, and can be reversed at any time.

Protect individual items too

Mark notes, conversations, financials, CIMs, contacts and other records "Protected from AI", and they're excluded from AI as well.

When in doubt, AI is denied

If Deal Pros can't confirm a policy, a classification or that an AI provider is approved for the data, the request is denied.

Approved AI providers only

AI requests go only to providers in our AI Provider Registry, and only for the data categories each is approved for. No provider is approved for Data Room content today.

What our platform provider says about training

Our platform provider states that data from users of applications built on it, including Deal Pros, isn't used to train its AI models.

What stays your responsibility

Deal Pros enforces AI restrictions while information stays inside protected areas. If you copy protected information into an AI feature yourself, it's no longer protected. Make sure your organization, brokerage and clients permit any information you send to AI. Deal Pros' controls aren't approval from your brokerage, employer, regulator, attorney or client.

You are responsible for configuring controls appropriately and for using AI in line with your brokerage's requirements and all applicable laws and regulations. Deal Pros does not provide legal or compliance advice, and its records are not brokerage approval.
